Dear all,
Together with IBM Client Innovation Center Denmark we have a
fully-funded “industrial PhD” scholarship at the Technical University
of Denmark (DTU) in “investment models for demand-side flexibility”.
The successful candidate will be employed by IBM during the three
years of PhD, and primarily based in IBM, while collaborating with
supervisors from both DTU and IBM. The project goal is the development
of investment models for stakeholders in energy sector to invest in
demand-side flexibility, aiming at selling balancing services in
various current and upcoming local, national, regional and European
flexibility markets. Fundamental knowledge on convex and combinatorial
optimization and power systems is essential. The application deadline
is July 3, and the project will be started in fall 2020.
