Assistant, Associate or Full Professor – Econometrics

The Department of Economics at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for one or more full-time tenure/tenure track positions in the field of Econometrics. The Department offers a Ph.D. degree, a professional Master's degree (MSPE), and an undergraduate degree (BA). For information about the Department, see www.economics.illinois.edu. The salary will be commensurate with the research record and other accomplishments. The target starting date is August 16, 2014. Assistant Professor Applicants:
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or have completed the requirements for such a degree by the starting date of employment. Applicants must have a strong research record, or a promising research agenda, and the ability to contribute effectively to the instruction and supervision of students in our three programs.

Applicants for Assistant Professor must submit a curriculum vita, one or more research papers, and the email addresses for three references. Applicants who have recently completed their Ph.D. since 2012, or who will complete their Ph.D. during 2014 will have their references contacted directly after submission of the application. Associate and Full Professor Applicants:

Applicants must hold a Ph.D., or an equivalent degree. Applicants must have an outstanding research record and the ability to contribute effectively to the instruction and supervision of students in our three programs.

After a review of the research record, the search committee may then contact the applicant about soliciting letters of reference. To ensure full consideration, all required application materials must be submitted by the closing date of January 1, 2014.

Early applicants may be interviewed before the closing date, and some hiring decisions may be made before the closing date.
