Salary: Grade 7/8; £32,590 - £ 36,661 / £40,046 - £46,400 per annum

As part of an exciting development under the Q-Step programme, supported by the Nuffield Foundation, ESRC and HEFCE, the School of Mathematics and Statistics will make a key appointment to a Lectureship in Statistics. The successful applicant will pursue internationally leading research in Statistics that complements our existing research. In addition to involvement in Statistics degree programmes within the School, the teaching duties associated with the post will include activity to support the aims of the Q-Step programme to improve the quantitative skills of students in the social sciences. Research connections with the School of Social Sciences are encouraged.
